Filter bags for fluid bed drying and granulation have different shapes, we can find O, D, sector and single stocking shapes on the market.

The shake or blow back action will be executed with minimum unit.

-For the O shape, the kit will work at the same time;

-For the D shape, a kit consists of two units, will work alternately;

-For the sector and single stocking shape, a kit consists of three or more units, will work one by one.

Generally speaking, both shake and blow back will affect the fluidization, more units mean smaller action zone every time, better for fluidization. However, it’s not the only way to do so. The chambers of fluid bed, the design of filter bags (quantity, diameter and length) are different too.

The diameter of drying chamber usually larger than the bowl, together with the suitable filter bags kit, to make sure the shake or blow back action won’t affect the fluidization.

-Larger diameter of drying chamber, usually means more airflow allowed, higher capacity.

-For the drying chamber with the reduction diameter design, the air speed will decrease according to the bigger diameter changed.

-For cylinder drying chamber, since the airflow have no change, the particles will be fluidized higher than other shapes. So, the machines are normally higher.
